Suffer for your art..
In my art class we have to create our own pieces in the style of anyone we like. I chose Christopher Farrell (no not the guy from the apprentice I'm talking about the cityscape artist). I've now decided how stupid I am to have chosen such an inspiration.
I stood in the wind and rain for a long time just to get a few photos of the illuminations as Christopher Farrell uses moving light on his canvas to light up the town. This is the photo I am no attempting to paint...
I'll keep you guys updated on the finished Canvas yeah? Cool (:

fireworks are AWESOME!!!
So who else had fun on bonfire night? I think I'll just tell you in bullet points the state of events which went down
- we waited an hour and a half for everyone to arrive
- We stood in a muddy field waiting for the fireworks to start
- the fireworks were too close so my ears are now half deaf and everyone had to crane their necks to see properly
- we waited ages for a bus because the route decided to change
- went to Zekos where a drunk man complimented me on my american accent (I'm british)
- wolf whistled at a gorgeous guy who was gracious enough to whistle back!!!
- sang terribly with my friends at the top of our lungs
- toddled off home and watched family guy
Sorry, no photos today, the weather was too bad to bring a camera, but you'll all soon be seeing my latest project called "patterns and repetition."

Portraits and their environments Two.
The rich like to party. Heather is my model for the day. She's a party girl, but doesn't forget her higher class above those who don't dress to the occasion. Her clothes represent who she is and her stance represents the good time she's having. Her environment is with her back to the wall but not too cool to dance.

Portraits and their environments One.
My model is at one with nature and the landscape around her really expresses this. The whole environment is rich with greens and gives a great warmth. My model is central in this piece to be surrounded by the environment she is in. Her hand touching the water forms a deeper connection to the nature she is so involved with.
